My favorite H&M finds that feel high-end

The afforable store I’ve been most impressed with lately is definitely H&M. There are a ton of great pieces that look more high-end, with quality construction & fabrics.

I stopped by today to check out their sale, but ended up shopping their new collection instead. Stores have been open for a while in the Netherlands, but some retailers still have their dressing rooms closed – so I had to try on everything at home! Shopping at H&M (whether in-person or online) can be a little bit overwhelming, so here is a curated list of some of my favorite H&M finds that feel high-end.

The puff sleeve trend has been in full force lately, but I haven’t been able to find anything that I felt comfortable in. I’m on the short side so I always feel like the fabric is too much – but this one is actually a great fit for for petites! Comes in black as well. I also like this eyelet version, and this longer cream colored version. On the topic of dresses… this lilac one in stores was gorgeous but was not available in my size. I’m also into this bright orange dress for summer.

I loved the entire line of lemon printed items. I was really hoping this dress would work for me but unfortunately it fit really large. I couldn’t find it online in the US, but the shorter puff sleeve dress and the crop top and skirt combination were also good finds. The fabric is a thicker linen blend so it has a nice weight. Also a fan of these fun lemon earrings.

This blue top was probably my favorite clothing item – I actually grabbed it on a whim and was thinking it would fit awkwardly, but the waist has a stretch band and the bow in the back is adjustable. The fabric is thick enough so the sleeves stick out perfectly. Unfortunately I couldn’t find it online in the US store, but I found this top in the same color also with a peplum and bow detail.

This purse was my favorite purchase! It’s a unique shape and very structured. Great for summer. It’s not lined and has no pockets, so I recommend a small bag to keep your smaller items in – this one from Bag-All is my favorite.

And last but not least… they had a dozen different striped bathing suit combinations! The blue is almost a lilac powder blue so it looks a lot more chic in person, especially with the cute feminine ruffles and details. Also only in stores, but I did find this cute pink striped one piece available online.
