I’ve been a California native my whole life; growing up in Ojai, going to school in San Diego, and working in Los Angeles – before mixing it all up and moving across the world to Amsterdam.
The running joke in Los Angeles is that everyone is an actor or model – and I was no exception! I spent most of my childhood and pre-teen years as an actress in the 1990’s, and there were plenty of exciting ways my career could have gone – but most paths would have likely led down Lohan Lane which, thankfully, I swerved out of.
In the end, the entertainment industry is personally difficult, especially on the self-esteem of a young teen facing the pressure of booking more competitive roles versus wanting to live a normal life.
So, I made the happy decision to leave the world of acting (and home-schooling!) to attend high school, and pursue my undergrad and MBA. I returned to Los Angeles to work in the entertainment industry, but this time on the corporate side.
While I loved the fast pace and immediacy of living in LA, I have an insatiable passion for travel and experiencing new & exciting cultures around the world – and I always knew I wanted to move abroad.
So when the opportunity arose to relocate to Amsterdam, I took it without hesitation!
I’ve always loved sharing my favorite destinations and beauty & fashion recommendations with my friends – so stay tuned for tips on travel, European style & trends, and my latest
