I may have cheated on this one a little… because this guide basically reads like my own Christmas list. 🙂 If you’re looking for what to buy your mom, sister, or significant other, look no further than this gift guide for her. I’ve put a lot of thought into each item, and explained why each gift is a perfect way to wrap up 2021. Happy shopping!

LED face mask
With all this time spent in face masks, a lot of women have been focused on taking care of our stressed out skin. My absolute favorite beauty tool from 2021 is this LED face mask (US link // EU link). It stimulates collaged production and gives your skin a healthy glow, making it the perfect beauty item for taking care of winter skin.
Silk loungewear
2021 has been the year of loungewear, and we’re heading towards a quiet, partially locked-down winter (at least in Europe). A real silk nightgown or robe is the perfect cozy gift for the upcoming winter season. Lunya is one of my favorite brands, because all of their silk items are washable. Find all of their best styles for winter below. I also love these gorgeous cashmere slippers, and this is my current favorite sleepwear set (nightgown, robe).
A gratitude journal
Last year, I loved the gratitude journal I got for my birthday. It helped me put things into perspective and shift my moods. This one I use is available in the EU, but I also love this one in the US.
Luxury scents
We’re spending a lot of time at home, so it’s the perfect time to indulge in one of those pricey candles or perfumes she’s always talking about. Byredo & Diptyque are two of my favorite luxury scent brands.
If you’re looking for perfume, Gypsy Water (EU link) is a classic if she’s into softer, sweeter scents. I personally love the spicier Bal D’Afrique (EU link) and the citrusy Pulp (EU link).
For home scents, Diptyque has always been my favorite. The two scents I always have in my home are Baies (EU link) for spring/summer and Feu de Bois (EU link) for fall/winter.
Jewelry
This one is kind of a no-brainer – most girls love jewelry. But I love getting jewelry from smaller, local designers. Some of my favorite small brands are:
- Corpus Christi: I wrote about this designer in my roundup of French brands, and I love how effortlessly cool their jewelry is. Their pieces add a little edge to any outfit, are made in Paris, and are sterling silver or gold plated. I get a lot of compliments on these earrings, which are dainty but bad ass, and I love this crown ring.
- Monsieur Blonde: I discovered this brand while on a trip to Bali, and I love their delicate, gypsy-vibe gold jewelry. This necklace is still one of my favorites, and this one is a gorgeous new addition.
2022 planner
Like most of us, I’ve been doing some reflecting on what I want from 2022. This is my favorite planner – I got the 2021 version for Christmas from my husband last year. If you’re looking for something in the US that is guaranteed to arrive by Christmas, I’ve included some of my other favorites below.
Wine subscription
I’m going to be honest – a wine subscription is 100% on my Christmas list this year. We’ve all been a bit stressed. And with bars closed for a good portion of 2021, a lot of us are enjoying a glass of wine (or two) at home instead. A subscription is a great way for people to learn more about different wines.
- If you’re in the US, this one is the best overall subscription (recommended by sommeliers) and for the best affordable subscription try this one.
- If you’re in the Netherlands, try this one or this one (requires a taste quiz, so make sure you know her well).
- Alternatively, I also recommend asking your local wine shop if they do shipments & deliveries. It’s a great opportunity to support small businesses!
That’s it for this gift guide – but be sure to check out my others!
